Noyze was the first volume panel replacement app for Android. Leveraging the new AccessibilityService API, Noyze could override how the system responds to volume buttons, providing a themed extensive with endless customization options. Noyze added playback and multi-channel controls, along with the ability to launch apps by long pressing volume up or down.
With more than 500,000+ installs, Noyze was featured on Gadget Hacks, Android Police, PhoneArena, and was one of Computerworld’s favorite apps for October 2014.

A key feature of Noyze was the extensive catalog of customizable themes designed to mirror modern and nostalgic styles, from the minimalistic status bar theme to multi-channel controls. Extensive research was done across a variety of systems and interfaces to understand which designs and features resonated most with users.
